Who they are, where the run went, and the same key visual cut for every city on it.

Disco 82

DJ Aqeel

Aqeel Ali has been doing this since 2000, and for anyone who grew up on Bollywood remixes he is that entire era. The Daddy Mix, Ek Hasina Thi, the records that were on at every party. Disco 82 is one of his own albums, so the tour took its name from it, which meant the artwork wanted to feel like a record sleeve rather than a club flyer.

The Return of Bin Tere

DJ Suketu

Suketu Radia won the DMC in 1999, then put out Bin Tere Sanam and it went to number one here. Twenty years later it still has not left a playlist. That is the whole reason the run was called The Return of Bin Tere: you are not selling a new record, you are selling a room that already knows every word, so the poster leans on memory instead of novelty.

What a tour asks for

A one-off night sells itself. A tour has to sell the artist first and the date second, across half a dozen cities that each need their own poster while still obviously belonging to the same run. Three of them: Aqeel's Disco 82 through Australia and Singapore, twice, Suketu's Return of Bin Tere through Australia, New Zealand and Singapore, and Lijo's first run out here.
